LKA Community Spotlight
|
Karen Paul When did you move into the neighborhood? We moved to Lake Kitchawan in February of 2014. How was it different than it is today? The playground, thanks to the playground committee, looks fabulous before it was just donations patched together like a puzzle. What is your favorite neighborhood sight? Kids playing together at the lake and trick or treating at the Lake in October. What is your favorite Kitchawan memory? I have 2! Meeting Ron, our local lake historian, at the lake during the Summer of 2018. He’s such a wealth of knowledge and i look forward to talking with him again soon. And trick or treating around the lake with all the kids in the dark with flashlights, lanterns and wagons (to hold the candy of course!). |
What kind words or advice would you like to share with your neighbors or what other insight you would like to provide?
We have a wonderful community with so many fantastic people. I’ve met so many wonderful people and kids - I’m convinced we have the best neighborhood in South Salem. The hiking in the Leon Levy Preserve is fantastic fun and is evolving too (new trails and securing the Black Mansion).
